Empowerment of Young Women Through Financial Inclusion (Trickle Up)
The “Empowerment of Young Women Through Financial Inclusion” program in Chiapas, Mexico, funded by Trickle Up, Inc., provided over 800 women artisan entrepreneurs with financial training, access to credit, and a small grant to start their businesses. Using the Graduation approach, the program helped these women form savings groups, receive seed capital, and gain one-on-one coaching to build confidence and achieve economic self-sufficiency.

Reached 1,407 women artisan entrepreneurs in Chiapas, Mexico.
Provided training in leadership, self-esteem, savings methodology, women’s rights, and personal coaching.
Distributed small grants to the women to start their businesses.
Achieved 100% female participation among beneficiaries.
Facilitated financial inclusion through the Trickle Up Graduation approach, including training on savings accounts, accessing credit, and teamwork.
